Variance owned the rights to the Electronic Neural Loop (ENL), invented by its late founder, Paul Goodwin, PhD.  It is believed to be fantastically valuable and two patents were obtained. However, after Paul's passing, Variance was unable to capitalize on its value, the patents expired and in 2025 Variance Dynamical dissolved. This website has been maintained by Jim Gottstein to recognize Dr. Goodwin's accomplishment.
